The Internationals are a group of three staying bred horses imported from England and trained by Matt Cumani at Ballarat.

All three of the horses are winners already and are lowly rated for Australian racing meaning that they will have a class advantage against local horses.

Archery Peak, Diamond Geyser and Van Dyke are currently in work at Ballarat and are expected to race within a month.

Archery Peak

Archery Peak is a 5 year old gelding by Arch out of the Fusaichi Pegasus mare Come Touch the Sun. He comes from a strong female family with his second dam being the dam of multiple Group 1 winners and black type performers. He is a last start winner over 8.3 furlongs at Windsor in October 2016.

You can find out more about him by going to the Archery Peak profile page.

Diamond Geyser

Diamond Geyser is a 4 year old colt by Champs Elysees out of the Nureyev mare Triomphale, who is also the dam of 8 winners including 2 listed winners. Started in 9 races with 2 wins and 2 placings under his belt, he has improved his form with time and the previous connections of the horse see further potential to come. This colt has had his credentials boosted by the smart filly Zain Arionand who in her own right has beaten an impressive handicapper in Palisade.

You can find out more about him by going to the Diamond Geyser profile page.

Van Dyke

Van Dyke is a 4 year old colt by the top-class miler Excellent Art and from a strong family. His second dam, Seren Quest, is the dam of 3 black type winners and the Granddam of 6 black type performers. Of his 11 starts he finished out of the prize money only twice. His performances to date have seen him earn a Timeform rating of 87. His form stacks up well: Predilection, whom he placed 2nd to has become a Listed placed horse.
