Archery Peak won his third race from 8 starts at Cranbourne today assisted by a superb ride from jockey Damien Oliver.
With a slow early pace Oliver took the initiative and sent Archery Peak to the lead, a position he isn't used to being in mid-race.
Knowing that he had a horse with a fitness edge Oliver was happy to let his mount cruise along in the lead before shaking him up coming round the turn.
Nothing else could make an impression and he went on to win comfortably by a length and a half.
