Alma's Rossa posted her second win at Warrnambool today.

Trainer Matt Williams gave her a good wrap before the race, saying that she had trained on from her good win two weeks ago.

For some odd reason the bookmakers ignored her last start win and offered $20 early in the betting. Persisent support sw her shorten to $10 at the jump and many Hearts Racing subscribers enjoyed a good win.

Alma's Rossa raced like a determined filly and hit the line hard after having the hardest run of the race from her wide barrier. It made her performance all the more meritorious.

Matt Williams forecasts that her next run will be in the city against three year old filly class and based on today's run Alma's Rossa should be competitive.
